Jim obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree from San Diego State University in Speech-Communication. He continued his studies at the University of Minnesota to pursue a doctorate degree in Speech-Communication, and he worked as a Research Assistant at the University’s Medical School for 2 years. Over the last 20 years Jim has taught a variety of Communication courses at colleges and universities in the Twin Cities, emphasizing to his students the importance to their health of quality interpersonal communication. Jim enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and 3 children, especially in San Diego and Guatemala. |
